Supporting heart-based healing and growth
Suzanne is an integral therapist in private practice at Mindful Therapy West LA. She brings to therapy more than 15-years experience as coach, consultant, hypnotherapist/Depth Hypnosis practitioner and is now in her 2nd year as a psychotherapist and a Licensed MFT (#132653). Helping individuals, families and business leaders connect heart and mind when situations and defenses have limited this connection and lead to relationship and business crisis and suffering is her passion. Suzanne completed her MA in Integrative Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies, a leading counseling college in the nation, and attained a certificate in Depth Hypnosis from The Sacred Stream in Berkeley, California. She practices Mindfulness and Vipassana meditation. Suzanne weaves these personal practices and tools into each session to support clients as they move from surviving to living the life uniquely meant for them.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Suzanne spent many years in the financial world. First, as a financial advisor helping clients towards their financial goals. Then, as a business coach and consultant to support entrepreneurs, leaders and business owners to gain traction on their visions, and work through personal blocks showing up as slowed business growth or stagnant workplace environments. Supporting start-ups and businesses in growth stage at the systems level helped her understand how corporate structures can function or disfunction from a systemic level. These structures affect individuals who are a part of them and how the delicate balance of personal and professional can both support and detract from personal growth.
Insight from the connections of work experiences with client’s challenges in personal relationship, family dynamics and professional identity can provide opportunities for growth, reflection and healing.
Symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma/ptsd, lack or dysfunctional social coherence and cognition, spiritual emergence and emergency may be a sign of a larger system imbalance. We must work to reclaim our wholeness and expand resources both internally and externally.
Couples expand compassionate communication, understanding and rupture/repair skills. Boundary skills and understanding of how to make contact with our partners and to receive contact and intimacy from our partners.
