What is the process of therapy?
Therapy is a weekly process that builds a healing relationship between the therapist and client. A relational approach allows for us to talk about things as they come up in therapy. I expect patterns that are alive in your life outside of therapy will show up in therapy too. I create a warm, safe space in which to explore these patterns together as they come up.
What should I bring to my first session?
You can just bring yourself to the first session. If you would like to bring a water bottle, journal and pen/pencil.
Do you take insurance?
I do not currently take insurance but can provide a superbill at the end of each month by request. In addition, you may use the link below to check your benefits and use Mentaya to facilitate your out of network reimbursements. If you have questions about out of network coverage, call your carrier or Mentaya to inquire.
